Human beings are superior to other species of the world because they own two types of capabilities in terms of wisdom and discretion that make them chieftain than other species. the tendency of consciousness and capacity for procreation is approximately found in each animal, and they are satisfied with it, but humans cannot be satisfied with it, and they think beyond it. Probably, this imagination births “Art” in human beings.
It is not possible to answer what is art in reality. National poet Maithili Sharan Gupta said about art, “The efficient power of expression is art.”
The famous scientist of Italy is also admitted, “art is the mode of expression”: “The connection of art is only a prosses encouraged by self-consciousness. When an artesian expresses his/her self-consciousness easily naturally that transform in art. Hence, the perfection of expression is only an art that is their beauty.”
In fact, art is the beauty of expression as well as the prosperity of introducers. It is said that the art of which culture is more prosperous and artistically pleasing, the civilization will be more glorious and antecedent.
Art affects society and is also affected by it. Therefore, some have considered it an expression of society, while others view it as the transformation of society.
If viewed from the perspective of India, painting, handcrafting, graffiti, song-music, acting, literature, building construction, etc. all are included in the circumference of art. Such as the beauty expressed through the Madhubani Painting of Bihar, Nirmal Painting of Andhra Pradesh, Dandiya of Gujrat, Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Bihu dance of Assam, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Taj Mahal, Jain temple of Delaware, etc.
These all are aspects of art, in which the Indian culture has been created. Despite having a very simple and traditional culture and composition that connected with it, it is impressive that express affluence and glorious heritage of the nation.
There is deepen relation between art and culture. Sometime, struggle is aided by art, while at other time, liberty is derived from that struggle. To get fame, peace and guide society onto the right path, art become a medium.
In our country, several social groups have been predicted their high records by art, there are many examples such as Mithila Paintings of Bihar has its own specific important in the field of art. In Bihar, women liberation and social justice have been given opportunity to challenge male supremacy and feudal society through Mithila Paintings. There a lot of women that have got adroitness in Mithila Paintings, and these women have reached several places of India via this and created their own identity, they got separate identity in society, and theirs economic condition has been also improved enough by it where these women were passing their life at home, this art has given them a new identity today.
It has occurred several times that art has guided human beings, sometimes, it has been through literature, paintings, and cinema, while at other times it has been through another form. Nonetheless, the trend of criticism continues to persist. In the field of art, opposing viewpoints are often tolerated while experimenting with something new. However, it all depends on the artist’s idol, whether the act they have done can show society a new path or not. Art must have positive thoughts, because of the direct relation of its effects on society.
Furthermore, art has the responsibility to end fruitless legacy customs and traditions wherein society gets a new opportunity and society has also the responsibility, they adopt positive things from the arts, so without art, it is tough to imagine a civilized society.
